In my role as Director of Communications at Families Rising, I paired my skills in crafting compelling written materials with new skills in building systems, developing high-level strategy, and leading staff. In this leadership capacity, I drove communications strategy across multiple programs, coordinated consultant scopes of work and budgets, and supported cross-departmental review processes.

I provide digital services to clients across Washington. For this campaign at Washington Wildlife First, I served as communications strategist, with full ownership of digital assets, including the design, development, and launch of campaign hub and spoke pages.

I conducted interviews with professionals, families, and people with lived experience to inform human-centered messaging, translating technical information into engaging case studies.
Independent art & marketing: Pottery side hustle
As a ceramic hobbyist, it's been a fun creative challenge to grow my own artistic presence online and at community events. It has allowed me to test ideas on TikTok and Instagram, as well as in print promotional materials.
